BURN RECONSTRUCTION
Approximately one year after the burn occurred you may require burn reconstruction to release contractures. This procedure could be useful in releasing the tightness of the scars to improve movement and comfort. One of the most important variables in burn reconstruction being effective is time. Your function may improve, however, the scar may remain.
