KELOID EXCISION
Keloid is scar tissue that grows beyond the edges of the wound. Keloids can appear anywhere on the body. These thick scars can be treated differently (most commonly by injecting steroid directly into scar tissue) but keloids can also reappear after few years. Keloids are not to be confused with hypertrophic scars.
